Cheryl Battle-Freeman
Cheryl Battle-Freeman is a passionate, faith-filled, anointed servant of God who has been inspiring others and sharing her testimony for many years as an encourager, speaker, minister, and author. Soon after accepting Jesus into her heart, Cheryl received, and accepted, her call into the ministry! She enrolled in a bible class at a local bible college in Houston, and her journey in sharing the Word of God was ignited! Walking in her calling, Cheryl continues to use her God-given gifts to help others and offer messages of hope at faith-based conferences, workshops, seminars, and outreach events. Within the Body of Christ, Cheryl has served in numerous capacities and possesses great fervor for helping others as she spreads the Love of Christ wherever she goes. She has witnessed the fruit of her labor and dedication in advocating for others, including in communities, and praises God for the ‘GOOD’ He has purposed, assigned, and equipped her to do. From that has come her greatest fulfillment in life!
More than 2 decades ago, Cheryl’s love of writing was first discovered when she agreed to assist two of her close friends with publishing a newsletter, ‘FORSOULPURPOSE.’ That publication was written to uplift women and motivate them to press through hardships, and was distributed primarily in the Greater Houston Area at several women’s shelters. Additionally, for many years now, Cheryl has written and faithfully shared weekly ‘Mid-Week Inspiration’ messages inspired by God to enlighten and strengthen others.
A long-time native Houstonian, and a graduate of the University of Houston–Central campus with a B.S. in Biology, Cheryl served Harris County residents as a public health professional for over 27 years. Having retired from a very rewarding career, Cheryl Battle-Freeman is excited about spending more time with family and friends, encouraging and blessing others, authoring more books, and touching the world for Christ!
